Teaching Practice

Procedures of Teaching I used procedures that follow the Communicative Language Teaching approach (CLT) - Warm up            This step I ask the students what they have learnt from last time. I always use some media and music in this step. I use the songs that related with the new lesson that day to make the students excited and to be ready for studying. And then I ask them can you guess what are we going to learn today. - Presentation            This step I present all the contents to the students. Teach and explain them the lesson. I sometimes use English book and power point. - Practice            This step is to practice students after they learn from the presentation step. To check them that they understand what I teach them. I always use group activity to make them more active and work with their friends. - P...

Enjoy eating!

This was the first time that my friends and I had diner at the restaurant near the UII. We made some conversation and we exchanged the information about our countries. We had a good time together and knew each other more and more from this moment... When I was in Indonesia, the buddies always picked us up to find something to eat. They taught how to call the name of food and took care a lot of us. We always had a good time and were talkative. It's so funny and I felt like they're my Thai friends. These are some Indonesia foods... I always took photos before I ate because I want to keep them in my memory. And I also want to share the Indonesian foods to everyone! They are very ENAK!!! (means delicious)...

Opening Ceremony

On the first day, Tong and I joined the opening ceremony SEA-Teacher batch 7 in the morning. We met and gave a gift from our university to him. He is very kind, friendly and so funny. Then we met a lot of friends who were also 10 participants in this project. There were 8 Filipinos and also 2 girls who are from Thailand. I met nice and smiling friends here. BUDDIES gave us the information about Indonesia When the opening ceremony was finished, buddies led us to know about Indonesia at the library.

Let's start my journey

I left the Don Mueang Airport, Bangkok, Thailand on January 10, 2019. I went to Indonesia with my friend, Tong. He is from the same major and also the participant who joined the SEA-teacher project. It was also the first time for going abroad for him. We were very excited to go there! Finally, I arrived. I arrived at Yogyakarta, Indonesia at 05:15 PM. It is the big and very beautiful city. When the plane landed, I walked out of it and I saw the dark sky. It seemed the rain was coming... Then I saw my buddies who had been waiting for us. They are very kind and friendly. We introduced ourselves while we were on the UII van. Then they gave us the Indonesian name. For mine is Cinta (means love). I really like this name....
